Do I need to be affiliated with the University of Copenhagen to shop?
No. Anyone can shop in the webshop. You don't need to be studying or working at the university now, or have done so in the past, to buy KU products.
Can I buy KU products elsewhere?
Yes, you can find a selection of KU products in Academic Books' stores on the University of Copenhagen campuses and at the University Library in Fiolstræde.

What does the royal seal on the products mean?
The motif is the seal of the University of Copenhagen. It is based on the seal the university adopted at its re-inauguration in 1537 after the Reformation.
The seal shows Christian III above the Danish coat of arms and includes the years 1479 and 1537, marking the university's foundation and re-inauguration.
Where are the products manufactured?
The clothing and bags are from Stanley/Stella. The country of production varies from product to product. In the description of each product, you can see where the item was manufactured, what materials it consists of, and what certifications apply to it.
Turtle is responsible for the printing on the products.
Why do the products have different certifications?
The certifications tell different things about the product's materials and manufacturing. GOTS applies to textiles with certified organic fibres, GRS documents recycled materials and traceability, and OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 means that the textile has been tested for harmful substances.
Not all products have the same certifications. You can find the relevant information under each product.
Will there be more products?
Yes, that is the plan. We are continuously developing the assortment and looking at quality, price, demand, and the alignment with the University of Copenhagen's visual identity.
Can I suggest a product?
Yes, please do. Ideas are welcome from those who will use the products.
